MEET TEAM DOROTHY SEED
Dorothy Seed wedding florist was founded in 2021, following Dorina’s completion of a sustainable floristry training at The Bath Flower School and the Principles of Horticulture at Bristol Botanic Garden. At the time, we could never have imagined that just three years later, we’d be recognised as a multi-award-winning wedding florist. Based near the English border in Wales, with easy access to Monmouthshire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, The Cotswolds, Somerset and beyond, the team loves to create whimsical, earthy, romantic and natural floral designs for weddings, events, parties and editorials—all with an eco-conscious mindset.
Dorina is the founder, lead designer and heart of Dorothy Seed. She’s the first person you’ll speak to when enquiring and she takes pride in creating a thoughtful journey for every couple. With her deep interest in plants—rooted in a background in botany and horticulture—Dorina brings a sense of curiosity and wonder to her work, focusing on adding elements that spark interaction and meaningful connections between people and nature. Her passion lies in understanding you and your vision, transforming it into a bespoke experience and designs you’ll treasure forever.
Camilla is a talented designer with an incredible eye for detail. Having grown up with a florist mother, her passion for flowers began at a young age and flourished as she went on to create stunning arrangements for events in Berlin and Salisbury Cathedral. As a core part of Dorothy Seed, Camilla brings creativity, kindness and a wonderful sense of humour to every wedding. Whether she’s offering a second opinion, sharing a kind word or sparking laughter, she’s a constant source of joy for both our team and the families we work with.
Rupert is our right-hand man, packaging hero, and food supplier extraordinaire. Whether he's lending a hand with logistics, helping with heavy lifting, or packing up the van, Rupert’s support is invaluable to the team. But his most important role is keeping everyone fueled during busy times and ensuring we never run out of coffee and water. His behind-the-scenes efforts keep everything running smoothly, and we truly couldn’t do it without him.
Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of working with many talented freelance florists and we’re delighted to collaborate with them on larger projects. We love designing show-stopping installations, floral backdrops, hanging structures, arches and more—projects that require the love and input of a team. That’s why we’re so grateful for our florist friends, who bring their passion and expertise to every design we create together.
