Late Autumn, Halloween Inspired Wedding

Katie and Sam’s big day was an exciting, curiosity-driven botanical experience, inspired by the season and the stunning woodland surroundings of Broadfield Court. Their wedding flowers embraced gothic elements and natural textures in dark, moody tones, perfectly reflecting the atmosphere of their venue.

Katie envisioned a large, trailing bridal bouquet filled with unique foliage and seasonal blooms, capturing the moody, dramatic feel she wanted. Her bouquet celebrated the season’s changing colours, organic shapes and intricate textures, creating a natural and unforgettable statement piece.

Sam opted for a pocket meadow to fit his Marc Darcy suit, designed to complement its tones while adding a modern and distinctive floral touch.

For their ceremony, the couple wanted a striking focal point but didn’t want a traditional arch. Instead, we designed a creative setup using vintage chimney pots and floral meadows, arranging the blooms at different levels to achieve something extraordinary. These ceremony flowers were later repurposed to decorate the entrance of the tipi for their reception, maximising their impact throughout the day.

To enhance the reception space, we created a slightly spooky, wild hanging installation featuring twisted hazel, Spanish moss, ivy and dried materials. Stone bud vases adorned the tables, tying together the overall decor and reinforcing the natural, gothic-inspired theme.
