Dorothy Seed is a multi-award winning, eco-conscious floral design studio, specialising in wedding and event flowers in South Wales and further afield. Our floral style is mainly inspired by elements of the outdoors and the ever changing seasons. Nature has already composed the most stunning displays, our aim is to bring elements of that into our flower-filled designs. Following the guidance of the flowers and foliage we use, we create airy, whimsical, free-flowing arrangements and installations, focusing on scents, textures and shapes to create an artistic, bespoke and captivating botanical experience.
OUR APPROACH
We love drawing inspiration from nature, using it as a palette to create experiences that are intricate, engaging all the senses, and leaving a lasting impression. By embracing nature’s quirks and imperfections, we craft artful designs that ignite curiosity and inspire wonder. While delivering exceptional, unforgettable designs for every event we flower is our primary goal, we also place great importance on the journey. Building meaningful, genuine relationships with our clients is essential to us as we work collaboratively, offering guidance to create something remarkable.
OUR ETHOS
At Dorothy Seed we take our inspiration from the ever-changing seasons and work with unusual seasonal flowers from British growers and abroad. Drawing on her background in education and horticulture, Dorina bears our ecological footprint in mind when designing arrangements and sourcing flowers and greenery. We prioritise the use of seasonal, locally grown flowers, opting for simple compostable packaging, use sustainable mechanics and avoid bleached and chemically dyed materials - we embrace and truly enjoy using natural fresh and dried flowers!
